Help a Father Daughter team Race the All American Mint 400 Race in Vegas!

Cheap Thrills Racing has hopes for attending a very iconic race in the 2015 schedule. Like any kind of race, there are entry fees, GPS trackers, fuel, pit support, etc. That all comes out of our pockets to participate. We are planning on attending this upcoming competition in March, and also showcasing our newly built race-car! It is the largest and longest operating off-road desert race in the U.S. It is called the Mint 400, presented by General Tire, and through the Best in The Desert Race Association. This historical event is also known as, “The Great American Race”, and it has been running since the early 70’s. The Mint 400 has brought in countless racers from all over the world! Professionals to humble home-built race teams, celebrities, and actors alike. All have braved this race to be a part in its history. This race is a grueling 400+ miles of rugged and brutal terrain in the Nevada desert, spanning from Stateline Primm, NV to Las Vegas.
This year there have been some unique changes and opportunities for the smaller limited race-car classes, such as ourselves. This is awesome news for us! Only one class 11 stock VW bug raced the Mint 400 last year. It brought so much attention and nostalgia for the sport. Class 11 may not be the fastest, but it is the original race-car, and always tends to draw a crowd. Due to the fact of its spotlight, Casey Folks, the owner of Best in the Desert Racing Assoc., has decided to open up class 11. He will offer some special perks for those willing to race this year’s Mint 400. For all class 11 cars entered, there will be a special prize money purse thrown in from sponsors. As well as a designated spot for the stock bug class during contingency on Fremont Street. Oakley, Red Bull, Rockwell watches, and of course General Tire, are just a few of the major sponsors for this event. It will be premiered on national television, NBC Sports, and as well as live broadcasts worldwide. This clash of desert vehicles is part of the Red Bull Signature Series, which is known across the country.
We as a team, are hoping to be one of the hundreds to take on the challenge this year. Our car that we built has the capabilities of racing this monumental course. Also, it has won this same exact race in the 1980s. We have a great competitive spirit and high hopes for finishing top among the very few others this year. You, as our supporter, and sponsor, can help us achieve this goal. Details and fees for this race will be released soon. The entry fee alone for our class is upwards of $1,500, just to participate. This does not include any fuel, or travel expenses, etc. So for a humble father daughter team, this is obviously a huge expense. We are looking for any kind of support, financially, or product wise to get us on the track to race this epic off-road tournament. We cannot get any more visible to the race world and general public than this race! This is the time to showcase our sponsors with the fullest representation. Below I added some links of the race with further details. Please let me know if you have any questions. We appreciate all of our sponsors! We would not be here without your help. The Mint 400 Race
