Crosshill Christian School, part of Church on the Hill, is where Charysse and Marvin have entrusted their two boys, Tyler and Trent, to receive their education. As parents, they believe in this school, deeply.
During Charysse's 10-plus year battle with brain cancer, there was only one message she proclaimed to any and all who would ask: Her life was not her own.
Charysse strongly believed that she wasn't a victim of her circumstances but that God had a plan much larger than we could see on this side of heaven. We just had to believe.
Marvin & Charysse choose Crosshill Christian School because this is where they knew that their boys would receive a biblically-based education. But, Crosshill wasn't just for the boys. It's also where Charysse felt connected, supported and well loved by a community of moms and families that have, and continue to support her and the family the past couple of years.
Because of this, and many other reasons, we'd like to invite you to donate to the school, in lieu of flowers, so that more students would have the same opportunity that her boys have.
Donations will go towards advancing resources for the teachers, students and classrooms, as well as helping to underwrite students who otherwise couldn't afford it.
As a family, it's our collective desire to give back to Crosshill Christian School because it's given so much to us. Will you join us?
