Prim's Vet Bills

Donation protected

I moved to the east coast at the end of January, and in April was able to bring my two babies Prim and Ivy to my new home.

A couple months ago, I started noticing that Prim's stomach started getting bigger and treated her for worms, got her shots, and went to the vet twice trying to see what the issue might be. Both times I recieved no answer- only telling me to get an ultrasound and blood work done. When I asked how much that would be, I got the answer of $500+ both times (on top of the ~$100 just for the vet visit).

In Washington, these tests would cost around $200. Having just moved, rent, and a minimum wage job has proven to be difficult- and I would absolutely have the money to help her if I was back home. It just doesn't end there- $500 for tests ALONE, not even the surgery or medication she might need :(

My cats are my entire life. I will stand proud as the cat lady I am, and my babies mean everything to me. I cat sat another cat before I got Prim for a year and a half and in that time spent $300+ finding out that he had diabetes and spent every single day giving him shots while he was in my care.

I want to give my cats the best they can have, but I'm at a loss when testing her costs as much as my rent.

Just... need help <3 she's a little over a year, a dwarf calico cat, and seriously the sweetest cat you will ever meet. Help me keep her around for another 15+ years!

**according to experts the likely cause is either FIP or Pyometra, both of which can be fatal. If you can't donate, please send a happy thought or two.
