Walk Towards A Brighter Future

My name is Ryan Broems.  I am a veteran of the United States Air Force and a stand up comedian, and I am raising money to support my "Live for those who can't, walk towards a brighter future" campaign!  In a few weeks I will be embarking on a walk across America to raise awareness for many illnesses and causes that have effected the many people in my life. We all have people in our lives that have been effected by an illness or social injustice.  Whether it be hate, racism, war, discrimination, Illnesses such as diabetes, autism, ALS, Parkinsons, Cancer, etc.  With your help, I will be walking from the Pacific to the Atlantic to raise awareness for these causes.

This will be an intense journey both physically and mentally, but I am willing to step up to the challenge.  Your donations will go towards supplies such as hiking sneakers, reflective vests, bear spray, cameras, food, water, hiking equipment, lodging, and a fully interactive website where I will upload pictures, stories, and videos which will allow people around the world to follow the journey and really be a part of it!  I also hope to perform both comedy and motivational speaking to spread awareness at many towns and cities along the way! 

I've had many friends pass before their time.  All of them had hopes, dreams, goals, and the urge to live a life of meaning.  This is about living for those who no longer can, with a purpose and hope for a brighter future.
