As an active duty military member, and a child of a military family. I feel as a community it is important that we take care of our own. I have lost several friends in the line of duty; there is nothing we can do to make things complete for a family that has lost a loved one, especially one that serves their community.
Louisiana State Trooper Steven Vincent, has fallen on duty and is survived by his wife Katherine, and a 9 year old son Ethan.
I have never met him, or his family. I know you haven't either. All I know is that he gave it all to the State of Louisiana and we have an opportunity as a community to give back.
There is nothing we can do to fix this, however, we can extend his family into ours.

4. Funds will be spent by Katherine or Ethan Vincent, any way they see fit that enhances their life and transition. I cannot control how they spend this money. Only that I make sure they get it.
5. I plan to reach out to Steven Vincent's family and they may choose how they attain this money. I can also set it up so they can withdrawal it themselves and I have no control over the withdrawals. They must simply contact me and that is it.
