Food and Gas Expenses

Hello everyone! This is a fundraiser that Wes and I are creating to help us with the extra gas and food expenses we have while I am staying in guest housing.
The reason I am here is because I am 26 weeks pregnant with twin girls (they are in the picture in position of ying and yang), and I am at high risk of preterm labor. My cervix is weak and is doing what is called cervical funneling. My cervix is short and already at 1cm and I am 50% effaced. My girls are most likely going to be premature but I am trying my hardest, and without really any control over the situation, to do my best to keep them "cooking" a little longer. The more weeks that pass, they have more chance of survival, and survival, hopefully, God willing, with no disabilities.
Wes has a 45 mile round trip to work now with him and I staying here, and if there was not rush hour traffic he had to sit in on the way back here, the expense may not as bad, but hey we live in Portland! :)
Also, we have a small budget for food for us, and the other two kiddos we have. We recieve 17.00 a month in food stamps, some help from WIC and then only have 50.00 a week in cash. This comes from Wes being the only one who can work right now and I have to take time off from school. This budget will change once the girls are here, and we are able to qualify for some transitional assistance until I get back into school and can work, but until then it is very hard for us to keep everyone properly fed. I am also in need of more nutrional food while being pregnant and on bed rest.
Please realize this is very hard for us to ask of anyone. We realize everyone has struggle and times are tough, but we would not reach out unless we really had to. The money will be put to exactly what we have stated it will be used for; gas and food. We will even except donations even if it is not in the form of money. Gas cards. A bag of fruits and veggies. Anything counts! Thank you and God bless you!
