Help Me Graduate

I am usually a very private individual, and I rarely tell anyone my personal business. However, this time I am in dire need of help. I am a 33 year old college student attending Tarrant County College: Trinity River Campus. Because of a misunderstanding with financial aid last semester, and me dropping a course out of fear of failing a class, I owe the school money. I owe a little over $700.00 to the institution, and I cannot register for classes until this is paid in full. I was not frivelous with my financial aid refund money. It all went toward either school related expenses or helping my family with bills.

I am very active on my campus, involved in various clubs, and I'm an officer in three clubs including the Natural Sciences Club, Christians on Campus, and the Trinity River Film Club. I am also an officer in student governement, voted in two times, once as the secretary, and again as the historian. I have also volunteered on campus, working booths for Toys for Tots, Commit to Complete, Welcome Week, Trick or Treat on Main Street, and I've also worked in our community garden. I've also worked in the writing and learning center on our campus for an entire school year, proofreading papers and giving advice to students.



My most proudest achievement is being voted in as an officer in Beta Sigma Mu, our campus' chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. It has been a dream of mine to become an officer and wear that medallion around my neck.



I thought I could handle this problem on my own by getting a job, but I've put in multiple applications and so far I've received no call backs. Deadline for registration is coming up soon and I'm now in desperation mode.

This will be my last year at Tarrant County College, and I need these last few credits to earn my associates degree. Please help me achieve this goal by donating anything you can. Thank you very much.
