Carpeting for Homeless Shelter

There are angels at work in a San Diego North County Church and they need our help. This Church (name kept confidential for security reasons) hosts a rotational shelter for families struggling with homelessness. Through generous donations of food, energy and time they offer a safe place to sleep, eat and bathe.
The Church offers a dedicated space for the guests to sleep on air mattresses. But, these mattresses have been popping and deflating due to the rough concrete flooring they are placed on. This causes famililes and children to end up on the ground where it is cold and uncomfortable.
Those who run the shelter have expressed thier gratefulness for the volunteers that come and help make the guests' stay warm, inviting and safe. The one thing they could truly use though, is a large piece of industrial carpeting to cover the cement flooring. The carpeting would provide a necessary cushion for the air mattresses and add warmth and comfort to the families and children that stay there.
The space we are needing to carpet is large -- 20ft X 40ft so we are hoping to raise $600 for the carpeting and padding. Any amount will help us reach our goal! This shelter is such a blessing to those that need it and it would be a wonderful gift to help make the space comfortable and inviting. Thank you so much!
