1st Grade Books and Supplies!

Hi Everyone!
I will be starting as a 1st grade teacher this fall. This will be my first year as a teacher and I am super excited to meet my students and do great things with them. One vision for my classroom is to develop a love of reading in each of my students so that they can grow up to be strong readers, writers, speakers, and critical thinkers. This will require a large variety of books so that they can learn to pick books that are the right fit for them. I would like to get my classroom started with a wide assortment of books as well and supplies so that they can engage with these books in a variety of ways - learning to spell, learning to write narratives similar to the ones they read, and expressing themselves through words and pictures. Any small donation can be a huge contribution to a book! Every single donation made will be used to directly benefit my students through books and supplies.
