Please help Miss Van

Miss Van is a sweet, gentle, 3-month-old rescue puppy from a shelter in Chicago. We adopted her on a Saturday in late July and it was love at first sight. She was cleared by the shelter and provided to us with a clean bill of health. By the following Friday, she had been to the vet three times, diagnosed with severe pneumonia and admitted to the ER hospital for 24-hour care.

We have had her for only a week, and already she's seen more of the veterinarian’s office than our own living room. The shelter has offered to take Miss Van back and give us another puppy, but her warmth and playfulness has already made her an inseparable part of our lives. The shelter is unable to support any of Van's medical bills, despite being provided to us with undiagnosed pneumonia.

As her expenses increase, we are quickly exceeding our budget to support her health. We have been told Miss Van will make a full recovery, but to do so, she will need continued care from the animal hospital. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
