Top Surgery for Carl

I started this fund for my boyfriend, Carl, who is a Trans* man.  He is the love of my life and desperately needs a double mastectomy. He binds for up to 15 hours a day, which compresses his ribs and is a very big health risk. Though we both know his mental health is just as important as his physical. 

I would like to raise this money so he can have improved both physical and mental health. He identifies as a Transgender man and after living in the closet for almost five years, he can now start to live as the man he truly is.  This procedure is considered cosmetic and therefore not covered by OHIP, and as he works full time and I only work part time we cannot cover the cost of the procedure. 

This procedure will greatly improve my boyfriend's life in many ways. Not only will it stop him having to wear a binder, but also I will be able to see him look in a mirror and not be disgusted by what he sees.  It breaks my heart to see him suffer everyday. 

My hopes are to raise this money to take my boyfriend to Dr. Hugh McLean in Missausauga who has amazing results and a decent price.  I thank all of you for reading this and I would be grateful if you donated.  I hope you all find a man who makes you as happy as this man does for me.  Thank you
