Help Scamp See!

Donation protected

Scamp is a seemingly blind 12 week old grey and white tabby kitten. He was rescued from South Philly, where he weighed only 9 ounces, and had little to no fur. Scamp was extremely sick with a severe upper respiratory infection, and would have been left alone to overcome it. Thankfully he was found and received the medical attention necessary for him to survive.

Unfortunately for Scamp, his infection lasted too long and was too severe for him to recover completely. During his battle, he lost his eyes. The doctors believe they are extremely recessed (far back), but there is a slim chance they can save at least one.

Today, Scamp is doing much better, although he has flare-ups of the illness every once in awhile. He is adapting to his lack of sight, and is as rambunctious as his younger kitten friends. He is going to need to go to his forever home soon! Before he can do that, he needs to have some exstenive work done on his eyes to see if they can be recovered, or what we can do to keep him comfortable, such as having them removed.

Please help Scamp live the happiest, and most comfortable life possible. He has overcome so much, and deserves so much more.
