Brent and Sarah

Sarah and I met about ten months ago, and we were great friends immediately. I knew that she was different and unique, and as we got to know each other, I realized that I had never met someone like her before. 


After being friends for a good six months, I finally asked her what she thought about us dating. She actually turned me down at first, but after a little encouragement and a lot of patience on my part, she agreed, and we quickly realized that we should have started much sooner. After two months, we were engaged. She is really the most amazing person that I have ever met, and she complements me so well. She is the love of my life.

We met in Quito, Ecuador. We were both there because of Volunteer Christian Educational work we participate in. This work is something we do of our own time and finances, and have to support ourselves, but we do it because we really care about teaching people and helping them. It is a passion both of us share. I live in Quito and have been living there for the past year and a half. Sarah visited in September of '13 and fell in love with the country. We both plan to continue our work there for as long as we are able, and since I have citizenship of both the U.S.A and Ecuador, we can both live there with no problems after we are married. 


A good number of our friends and Family live abroad and won't be able to attend our wedding and have asked how they can help. This seemed to be a great way to give them a way to do so. Any support would mean a lot to us. :)
