Help Rehab the Community Veteran Center

The Chicago Montford Point Marine Association (MPMA) owns a 10,000 square ft building located at a accessible location near the expressway, bus and train services.

We are a Not for Profit 501(c)(3) Veteran Organization open to all veterans and those currently serving and their families; with a purpose to preserve the legacy of the first African American WWII Marines and we support educational assistance through Scholarships and veteran programs. The National Women Veterans United (NWVU), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Coalition of Veterans  Organizations (CVO), 555th Parachute Infantry Assoc. and other veteran and civic organizations utilize the facility to provide additional services to community veterans. 

MPMA:
- provides Scholarships for High School Seniors pursuing college,  military or vocational training.
- provides food baskets
- veteran service VA claim assistance
- referrals to resources
- hosts community military/veteran ceremonial events
- computer classes
- homeless clothing
- back to school supplies
- resource & health fairs 

The Association is in dire need of a heating and cooling system and construction rehab to improve our food bank storage area, computer lab and youth space! 

Please help so that we can build the Association for the good of the community!
