BarkBox for Booker!

Who is Booker?

Booker DeWitt is a 4 year old pug with an addiction to eating. Eating treats, eating toys, eating blankets, he wants to eat it. We adopted him almost a year ago, and he is about 5 years old. He spent a year at the adoption center waiting to be adopted because he is blind in one eye and needs to have eyedrops put into his eye every day. Apparently people don't like damaged dogs. We, however, fell in love with him at first site, literally. We saw his picture and wanted to adopt him immediately. We applied, drove all the way to Oakland, and adopted him on the spot! Ever since we've tried to spoil him as much as financially possible.

What is BarkBox?

BarkBox

is essentially LootCrate for dogs. Each month a new box comes in the mail and these boxes are full of treats, toys, and other nifty dog things. These are items that you generally can't find just at your local pet store.

BarkBox has always been something I've wanted to get for him, to give him new things to eat every month, but it can be a little pricey. Actually it's not that pricey if you buy a whole year's worth in advance. Instead of being 29 dollars a month, it becomes 18 dollars a month with free shipping! The catch is that you have to pay the full price, $216, up front, which is where this GoFundMe comes into play.

Why should I help?

This isn't Kickstarter, but we do want to give donators something out of it! So what we'll do, if this happens, is every month we will create a video and take pictures of Booker opening and enjoying his BarkBox treats. We'll also take a picture of him with a thank you sign featuring your name. It's not much but we really would like to thank anyone who donates. Anyone who donates at least $1.00 will get their name added to a special Thank You credits at the end of every Booker BarkBox video!
