Veteran Needs Security Deposit

Our family needs to raise money for a security deposit for our new home.
We are currently living in a third floor apartment. Unfortunately, I am a disabled veteran with numerous health issues and cannot always go up or down the stairs.
We have 2 children (a 6 year old boy and a 1 year old girl) living in a small 2 bedroom apartment that we have long outgrown.
We have found a new apartment that is large enough to accommodate our whole family. It is a first floor apartment, so I wouldn't have to worry about climbing up or down three flights of stairs to get to a doctor when I'm having a medical emergency.
Back spasms come frequently for me and there have been times I couldn't even get down my stairs to get to help.
We have looked over our budget and fortunately our family can afford the increase in rent and still pay our bills. The only thing standing in our way is a security deposit. If we could get help with a deposit, our family could be in a significantly better situation.
