I got 99 problems but a boob ain't one

On April 25, my wife, Jennifer, was diagnosed with Stage 2B Breast Cancer, only eight weeks after our family relocated to Franklin, TN so that she could pursue an excellent opportunity with a new company.

A slew of tests and doctor's appointments ensued over the next few weeks. She had a bilateral mastectomy on June 20. After recovering for a few weeks, she had her first round of chemotherapy on July 10. She'll receive five more rounds (six total) of a four-drug chemotherapy regimen. When that is done, she'll continue to recieve one of those drugs for about six months.

Put simply, money has been tight. And cancer treatment is expensive. I have been out of work since February, having resigned from my teaching position in Florida when we moved and then playing the role of "Mr. Mom" as we settled into our new home. Finding a job proved difficult and only recently have I been offered (and accepted) an English teaching position.

Any funds you are generous enough to donate will be used to pay the seemingly endless stream of medical bills that we receive, as well as the seemingly endless stream of medications that her doctors prescribe her.
