Creating a Mascot for Burbank Library

Tax deductible
In March, a costumed mascot design contest was held in which Burbank residents, of all ages, were asked to submit designs for a Burbank Public Library Mascot. Hundreds of designs were received and evaluated, and a winner was chosen. The winning design was submitted by Chris Runco, a local Burbank artist, cartoonist and art director. The Mascot is called "Dewey the Dragon."

"Dewey the Dragon", a fun, friendly, and lovable costumed mascot is a champion for reading and literacy in our community, and will represent the Burbank Public Library at numerous community events and activities.

Burbank, now we need your help! Please make a donation today and help us bring "Dewey the Dragon" to life. All donations will be used to offset the cost of creating the Library's mascot.
