Eight years ago, I started a journey to understand and come to terms with the bullying that happened to me as a youth. I created a website to tell my stories (bullyinglte.wordpress.com) and to try to help those of us that suffer with the long-term consequences that bullying has on us.
During the course of my journey, I discovered that I never came to terms with what had happened to me as a youth and the C-PTSD that I suffered with for years that formed me and the decisions that I made.
Based on what I have learned and my continual drive to share and help others recover from the bullying or abuse they had as children, I have decided to write a book called "A Ladder In The Dark - My Journey from bullying to self-acceptance".
I have also started a new company "Bullying Recovery, LLC" that will help raise funds to help others recover from C-PTSD and the long-terrm effects of Bullying. In order to publish the book and help fund the travel and marketing to promote the book to people and start-up costs of the company called Bullying Recovery LLC, I am asking for any help you can afford to support this effort. I truly believe this book will help people currently suffering with the long-term effects that bullying has and my company needs Angel Investors.
I am looking for you, my friends, family, and your friends as Angel Investors in this dream, who also wish to contribute to the journey and success of both the book and the company. So far, I have spent as much money as I can afford to start up the company and work on the book.
As you probably already know, the digital age has made it harder to get published, but easier to self-publish. I would like to self-publish and market the book, once completed through this fund and have based the requested funds from sites that describe the cost such as this PBS site (http://www.pbs.org/mediashift/2013/05/the-real-costs-of-self-publishing-book/). Thank you in advance for any help you can offer as I hope to complete the book and move toward taking this new company to market.
