Hello! Thank you for taking the time to speak to me and for considering my sponsorship request. My name is Shannon Thaler. I am 15 years old and live in Marlboro, New Jersey. I am an honors student going into my sophomore year at Howell High School. I am proud to be in the Performing Arts program there as a dancer, where this past year I participated in our musical, “The Producers.” I am very involved in school and dance six days a week at my dance studio here in Marlboro along with being a member of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble. I am also involved with the charity Cinderella’s Closet, an amazing foundation. It inspired me to start “Shannon Shares.” It’s a program designed to ensure that girls do not have to forfeit confidence and self-esteem due to financial hardship. Everyone can be a princess!
I am so excited about my most recent accomplishment!—being selected as a State Finalist in the Miss New Jersey Teen USA pageant to be held in October at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel in Parsippany, NJ. The New Jersey pageant system is one of the premier state pageants in the United States and I am proud to have been selected from among the hundreds of applications that were processed.
This kind of competition is an excellent experience. I am confident that I can do well and that it will lead to many other opportunities for my future. If I do become Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2015, I will represent the state and compete for the national title of Miss Teen USA 2015!
I have contacted you because I am hoping that you will participate with me! Yes, you can participate and get some recognition for yourself and your company by being one of my sponsors. The total sponsorship fee is $1500, and your contribution would be much appreciated. My sponsors will be recognized in the Official State Program and in press coverage. The sponsorship is necessary to help cover the costs of the pageant weekend such as hotel rooms, meals, production costs, wardrobe, etc.
I sincerely hope you will celebrate this event with me while receiving some valuable advertising and community exposure for yourself!
