Writer Needs a New PC

Hello Everyone! As many who know me already know, I am a freelance writer. My mighty "pen" has been transformed into a PC keyboard! After 6 years of writing avidly and passionately for work projects and the sheer joy of creative writing, my current PC/laptop is showing its age.  I've upgraded the memory and started running regular backups to avoid losing all my writing projects. But after 6 years, I know it's time for a new "electronic pen". It is absolutely CRUCIAL to continue my writing career. Not just for writing itself, but to search for and bid/apply for writing jobs and make contact with clients.

Since I work from home, my laptop and the internet are my lifeline to the world outside my apartment. Without access to the internet for email, professional networking, and social media, I would be completely isolated.

Freelance writing is a feast or famine endeavor and after 3 months of only short-term/low-pay projects, I'm in the famine stage. I have no funds for a new laptop. I'm close to broke. Any amount you can contribute to keep me afloat would be extremely appreciated!

Since 2001, I have helped a LOT of people through numerous donations of my time and skills through volunteering in Chicago and here in Las Vegas. Now that I'm the one who needs help, I hope that Karma will smile on me through your donations to my cause.
