Brett's Eagle Project

My name is Brett Aberle. I just graduated from Coventry High School and am a Life Scout in Troop 65 in Coventry.  I am working on my Eagle Scout project for my final rank in Boy Scouts. I have been working with Coventry Parks and Recreation and CSI to find ways I can help make improvements to Laidlaw Park. As a result of our discussions, I will be building 10 new player benches for the Laidlaw Park Soccer Fields. The new benches will be in place for the Fall 2018 season.

I wanted to help make improvements to Laidlaw Park because I started playing soccer there in 1st grade and continued playing soccer through high school. I have a lot of great memories from my time playing soccer. I hope I can help improve the park for the enjoyment of all Coventry youth for years to come.  I am looking to raise approximately $1,000.00 to buy materials.
