Brandon's Medical Expenses

On the afternoon of Friday July 17th, Brandon Davila (13 years old) was involved in a horrific car accident in Houston, Texas along with three other friends after the driver lost control of the car and it hit a tree. Brandon was immediately knocked unconscious, released by the Jaws of Life and airlifted to the Children's Hospital in downtown Houston where he currenlty is in the ICU. He has endured some very serious injuries and has a long road ahead to recovery, including multiple surgeries and a minimum of 30 days in the hospital. By God's grace he is still alive but is in a very critital state.
His parent's Eddie and Ruth are close friends of ours that we consider family. Eddie and my husband are childhood friends and more like brothers. As you can imagine this is a very trying time for both his parents, his older brother,grandparents and all of those who have some relationship with Eddie and Ruth. Aside from that I am sure so many can relate to this situation if it was your child.
I'm setting this account up to help alleviate the financial stress that Eddie and Ruth are going to endure. The last thing they need to worry about is finances when their main concern will be assisting with reabilitating their son. Although they qualify for FMLA it is not paid so they will have lost wages as well.
