High School in US for Sampa's Daughter

Sampa Lhundup is a Tibetan master woodcarver. He has carved a traditional throne for the Dalai Lama and other furniture for several monasteries. He is a refugee from Tibet, seeking political asylum in the United States. While his case is pending in Immigration Court, he remains separated from his wife and two children. Now, his 16 year-old daughter, Tenzin Wangmo, has a chance to attend high school in Rochester, NY. 

Wangmo is gregarious, resourceful, and very excited about being reunited with her dad who she hasn't seen in 3 years. Please help us make this happen!

Members of the White Lotus Buddhist Center and the Immanual Baptist Church: Lyn Parsons, Jerry Laufer, Gretchen and Frank Howard, JoEllen and Fred Kentner, Dick and Beth Myer are spearheading this fundraising effort.
