This is our final week working...
This is our final week working with Boys' Town directly in India, but all the generosity will contiue to support numerous services for the boys into the next year. Recent donations have been used to purchase needed winter clothes for the cold nights here. We're happy to annouce that the Indian Army medical team will be providing doctors and medical supplies free of charge for all the boys who have not had basic check ups in recent years or during thier entire lives.
We will still accept donations that will be used by those managing the orphanage to help the boys. I would like to extend a final thanks for all the generosity so many have shown, and the gratitude of the boys and everyone here is truly endless.

Our goal has been reached and...
Our goal has been reached and actually surpassed with other contributions that have been directly sent here! We're all overwhelmed by all the generosity that so many have shown. We recently had a great time with the boys at a local waterpark and picnic sight. Many were saying that it was the favorite thing they have ever done, and that was all made possible because of you.
Thanks to your generosity we will be able to move forward with some remaining projects such as creating a type of scholarship program for those that complete twelfth grades. We will still be accepting donations till December 1st so any additional assistance will still be put to use.

Thank You St. John's School in...
Thank You St. John's School in Canton, MA!!!!!!! I'm happy to announce that the students at St. John's School have raised $400 for the Boys' Town Fund! In just a short time they were able to put together such a successful fund raising project. This will make such a big impact as we are in the last few months of fund raising! This currently puts the Boys' Town Fund at a total of $2,400 between their efforts and the online funds. We're so grateful to every student, teacher, and the administration at St. John's School!
We are still working towards exceeding our goal so please spread the word because any assistance truly makes a difference!

Boys’ Town is an orphanage that is located outside of
Agartala, India where 35 boys ranging from three to eighteen years old live. Since
the orphanage’s inception in 2000, The Holy Cross Providence of Northeast India
Sisters have been taking care of boys who have lost their parents due to
violent conflicts. Even though resources are limited, the boys have become a
big family that supports one another with the help of the Sisters. Unfortunately financial barriers have created poor living conditions that undoubtedly have a negative physical and mental affect on all the boys. They are
currently in need of funding to purchase plywood to support the boys’ failing beds
(which have needed for the last six years), hygiene products, and many more
items to improve the dilapidated cabins and for some fun items such as movies.
Reaching or surpassing the goal could also help provide funding for those who are graduating from school and transitioning into living life on their own. Most young adults in India are very dependent on their parents for survival well into their twenties and beyond. These boys do not have this option so this truly is the last chance for many of them.
Five Stonehill College graduates are currently teaching at the Saint Andre School where the boys attend school and are fundraising for the orphanage in the hope of improving the conditions which they live in. Your generosity would greatly be appreciated and all proceeds will go directly towards benefiting the boys.
