BOOBS FOR AMANDA OMG

In middle school and high school, I was always really bummed out and insecure about my body. I was one of the only girls who did not "fill out," and I used to wear hoodies and baggy shirts every day as a result. I hated buying bras and was often too embarrassed to seek out anything that fit my A/AA size, and would just buy the bras I wish I filled out, instead. My mom used to tell me over and over not to worry, that she didn't really fill out until she had me, at 23. 23 came and went, and I'm pretty positive that my body was done changing a longgggg time ago.


Very fortunately, I am lucky enough to have had the community of Suicide Girls, and groups like IBTC [itty bitty titty committee] to show me that my body was nothing terrible or shameful, was not an anomoly or an accident or the result of faulty genes. It's just a body that lies somewhere on a spectrum of millions of different types, shapes and sizes. I am [obviously] very comfortable with my body, now, thanks SOLELY to so many sweet and supportive and appreciatve individuals on that site.


So, the fact that I'm saving money to have that body changed might seem to counter all of the above. It doesn't. I am endlessly grateful for the compliments, the love, the encouragement. However, it doesn't change the image in my head of what I had hoped to turn out like, and the way I would -like- to fill out bathing suits, lingerie, dresses, .. The way I am now does not let me fit -my- ideal image, and I tend to still feel and dress a little childishly as a result.


Thus, .. A boobie fund is born! I look forward to working and saving and giving myself something that nature didn't. If you're not a fan of breast implants, that's alright. No pressure. But if you are, or if you'd like to help me with this dream I've had since middle school, OR if you'd just like to speed up the process and get to the part where I show them off obnoxiously for months on end .. this is the place to do it. :]
