Hello! My name is Carla Grace Fajardo and I am a Cinema student at San Francisco State University. This coming 2014-2015 academic year I will be studying abroad in England.
While I am there I will be working on a documentary project that will be focusing on different facets of the local culture which will include interviewing people and discussing topics of music, art, media, film, food etc. When I come back home I will compile everything I have shot and edit it all into one documentary.
Similarly to other documentary filmmakers, this project will unfold itself during the course of my time abroad. An important part of this project is the YouTube channel where I will upload shorts and vlogs and where I can receive feedback comments, questions, and even suggestions for future videos.
Your donation will allow me to make most of this opportunity to immerse myself into the culture(s) abroad for I plan to travel in the UK and Europe and add more cultural experiences to the project. I will use this fund for travel expenses and equipment to make the content of documentary both accessible and professional. Any donation amount is appreciated!
