Help us survive

My loving friends, family and friends of friends. Thanks in advance just for clicking and reading. We need help. Starting tomorrow my kids, pets and I will all be homeless unless a crowd of angels descends upon us with a miracle. We came to California for Autism resources and services for my son and everything was going well until the apartment we originally rented was pulled away from us the day we were set to sign the lease. They changed their minds about allowing our dogs. It was very difficult to find another home as the market in California is very rough. We camped for 3 nights, stayed in an extended stay for 3 weeks and a La Quinta Inn for 3 nights until we finally signed the lease on our new home in Fairfield CA. Little did we know, the home had been vacant for 3 years and the musty smell that wouldn't go away turned out to be black, airborne mold. My kids, pets and I had all been living there for 10 full days. We are now at a motel 6 and the landlord is refusing to cooperate at this time. I have asked for a full refund and he is refusing saying he will not make any money if he does that. He was vacationing in Mexico this past weekend knowing full well there was mold. He has violated several other city ordinances and I have begun the process of reporting him but it can take time. In the meantime, I am in need and out of options. The motel 6 we are staying at is just $59 a night and I can board all 4 of our pets at a nice kennel for just $66 a night. I am asking for $1260, enough to pay for 10 nights for all of us. I am hopeful that by then all of this will be remedied. We are also working with social services and the regional center but again, these things take time, something I have run out of.
