Dear Friends and Family,
I love every moment of traveling because I am always learning and challenging myself to be a better person. This Winter Break, I have the opportunity to study abroad in Indonesia and learn about the Chinese diaspora.
Recently, I have been struggling financially due to some unexpected health care circumstances which resulted in me having to pay for the expenses out of my own pocket. I don't want to ask my parents for money because they have already done so much for me and have a lot on their plate.
For my 23rd birthday, I am asking for your generous donation to help fund my trip to Indonesia. If you donate at least $23 in honor of my 23rd birthday, I will agree to be pied in the face 23 times by the highest donation contributor...if I reach my goal of $3000! If you're not local, I will bake you a pie of your choice! This way it's fun for all of us.
