A Plea for My Bachelor's Degree

My name is Devin, and this year, I'll be a senior at SUNY Geneseo. My financial aid for this coming year has been altered drastically, and while I have tried my best to remedy the situation, I am currently left in a position where I will not be able to come close to paying my tuition for the coming year, and therefore will not be able to attend school to finish my degree, even with two part time jobs at school and a job at home over the summers.

I live with my dad, who, on top of divorce fees, mortgage payments, and support for my mother, along with a mountain of other bills, has to provide for myself, and my four younger siblings. Not only will I be the first person in my family to finish a four year degree, but I will also be paving the way for my four younger siblings, to show them that anything can be accomplished if you work hard enough. I have never worked so hard for anything in my entire life.

There is no amount of money that could ever top any of the things I have learned, and continue to learn, at Geneseo. Anyone who knows me knows that I don't like asking for help with these sort of things, but this school, and the things I learn there, mean more to me than just about everything else. This is the most important thing I've ever undertaken, an opportunity nobody else in my family has really had before, and I will give anything to see it to the end. I couldn't live with myself if I allowed this to slip through my fingers. Please help me see this through.
