Help get #BLMfilm in Film Festivals

I'm B. K. Wilson, filmmaker and father from Wilmington, DE. I have been making films since 2001. I recently graduated from Wilmington University and completed my first publicly funded film on Kickstarter.com, Dichotomy Brewing.

Now we need to raise funds to take the film to festivals and other screenings around the world. Most of the cost will be in submission fees. Sundance charges $80 for late submissions. We have already submitted to Sundance but would like to submit to many other film festivals like Toronto, Cannes, Berlin, and even Delaware. Submissions for short films are usually $40 and up to $80. There are hundreds and we would like everyone to hear the story of Wilmington Delaware and it's previous role in the Civil Rights movement.

This film was made in 2016 so we need to apply to film festivals now until 2017 ends. This is the qualification window. A film has a year to submit to festivals. This platform allows filmmakers to create lasting change like Morgan Spurlock's Super Size Me, that lead to a racial change in fast food. Director Gabriela Cowperthwaite's Black Fish was debuted at Sundance as well. This is the film responsible for over 50% financial loss in Sea World's profit based on the movie revealing the cruel and unethical treatment of Killer Whales captured by Sea World. This is why festival submits are most important to this campaign.

Film festivals provide filmmakers with opportunities unparallelled. Workshops, film screenings, and exclusive networking opportunities with highly respectible film industry professionals are all found as part of the film festival experience. This is why we ask for every minor donation! Any little help you can render! We HAVE to make it to these festivals in order to promote and represent the film. We are planning on attending Sundance in January for 7 days. The cost for food, room, transport, and entertainment will be roughly $3000 but we are applying for a program that will cover everything for $2599. The trip to Berlin Film Fest could be $2200 but we found a way to get there and cover all cost for only $1499. The festivals in delaware are closer so cheaper by thousands but doesn't have the influence that international film fest like Cannes in Frances has through the media.

I personally have been making films for years. Working on music videos, religious events, and even non-profit charity PFAs all lead me to this moment. The moment when I need your help.

Please, watch the film! Share with others and donate!

Thank you in advance,
Truly greatful,
BK Wilson
