Roots Community Birth Center

Welcome to the Roots Community Birth Center, a birth center focused on welcoming families of all backgrounds. Located in North Minneapolis in MN, our focus is on community based midwifery care. We want to increase access to out-of-hospital midwifery care and birth center birth to communities of color, low-income families and all those who want exceptional prenatal, birth and postpartum care and to be honored in their experience of welcoming their baby.

Through community outreach and acceptance we will help eliminate disparities in birth outcomes for our communities. We will increase access to prenatal care, midwives and doulas to help provide empowered, safe births and work to make sure each and every baby born in our community is full term and healthy.
