while I was attending school and competing to get in vet tech program at my college, I was given the devastating news that I had ovarian cancer stage 3c. As hard as it was to hear I had cancer it was just as hard to realize I would have to put school and work on hold until I was healthy enough to attend. Each day brings its own challenges, but I am determined to do everything necessary to put myself in remission. It's been hard to see my folks lives change as a result of this especially in terms of the medical bills. It's really important for me to be able to go back to college and fulfill my dream of becoming a vet tech, so I can help animals. I will have to do a year of maintance care after I am done with chemo every 3 weeks.
