In 2016, our inaugural exhibition showed work by Tanner Cook in a glass-enclosed bulletin board. In 2017, our first video installation, "Love Buzz" by Ash Eliza Smith, was on view 24-hours a day on our Sony Trinitron PVM20L5 video monitor at Helmuth Projects. And in February of this year, we opened our Barrio Logan project space with new drawings and animated works by Josh Tonies. We're excited for the line-up of artists and curators we've scheduled into next year, including: Alex Kershaw, Kristin Nason, Patrick Dunford, Brianna Rigg, Nathaniel Klein, and Noe Olivas.

If it weren't for this community, we wouldn't have grown from a modest bulletin board to a 500 sq. ft. gallery space. Your support has sustained Best Practice in the past, and we are asking for your help to continue our work.
This is our first attempt at fundraising. Until now, the two of us have funded Best Practice out of our own pockets. Your donation would not only help us pay for rent and supplies, but would allow us to expand our ambitions to fund things like:
* honorariums for artists, writers, and curators
* travel stipends
* art work shipping costs

* purchase of A/V and other equipment
