Hey, Im Kristian! Legally, My name is Kelsie and my gender marker is Female. However, I am transgender and identify as Male. I do not believe in a world with 2 specific genders and believe everyone is entitled to becoming exactly who they feel they are.
I am Raising money to fund my transition and all the financial obligations that come along with my happiness! Such as; Legal fees, name change fees, medical procedures, travel expenses, etc... I am planning on getting my medical procedures done next year in Miami.(if all goes as planned) I'm in the process of making consult appointments and raising the money to travel down to Miami, have my procedures done, and legally change my name.
Things that's are often over looked such as your birth-name. Can be a burden for some. For me I won't feel completely without legally going by my chosen name. & who knew such a simple process could cost hundreds. Feeling happy in your own skin is a process everyone faces at sometime.. But for me.. Many procedures are necessary for me to be completely comfortable and healthy. (Hysterectomy, mastectomy, hormones, etc..) it is easy to overlook the little things in life but it is important to know that not only am I struggling with these issues but millions of people around the world are as well.
My family is very supportive & I am hoping I can find more support in the world & find ways to help those who are not able to voice their opinions or become themselves. With the donations I raise I will finally be able to make my mind and body congruent.. and I know it is possible to be ME.. With every donation.. I don't just feel a sense of financial relief but a sense of hope... Hope for myself and the world around me.. Knowing that their are people out their who still genuinely care about others.. Even if the issue may seem out of the "norm" to many. I don't expect anyone to understand it... Just Accept it... & if you are lucky enough to fully understand what makes you, you... Then you're the lucky one.. But others struggle daily... & we don't have to understand every individual or everything.. Just accept it.. What makes you, you... Makes me,me!
