Help a New St Louis Drum Corps to DCI
Hey everyone! My name is Gabriel Cabrera. I am the director of the St. Louis Drum Corps Initiative (STLDCI) Incorporated and the group organizer for the Gatekeepers Sound Sport team in St Louis, MO. We are trying to raise funds that will go towards helping to field a group for the 2015 season. The basic idea behind our group is to provide a low cost, local alternative to drum corps for St Louis and Missouri students that, due to either financial difficulites or just shear travel distance, are not able to participate in DCI or DCA. We plan to grow from a Sound Sport team to a full fledged corps sometime in the near future. However, to reach this goal, we have to start from scratch.
All money donated will go towards food, transportation, instruments, and facility use fees. If you wish for your donation to be used for a certain aspect of the group, let us know with a comment. You can donate any amount you want, be it $1.00 or $100. Any amount helps and brings us a step closer to making this group a reality.
Listed below are a few of our donation levels. Sponsors will be listed on our website below. If you wish to remain anonymous during the process, just send us an email saying so. Any donations that are not specified for a certain student, or if that student decides not to take part, will be used in a generalized fund for students who need financial help and to secure instruments and transportation for the corps for the 2015 season. In additon to all benefits listed, all individuals who donate at least $25 will recieve a Gatekeepers Drum and Bugle Corps T-Shirt free!
