Bayli to Haiti

Haiti. This country has been on my heart for a while now. As I wrote about before, my plan was to go this summer, but God has made it clear that He has other plans. Honestly, I wanted to go in the summer to avoid this important step in preparing for a mission trip. Fundraising. Just thinking about it causes me to get a little panic-y. It's crazy because not even a year ago He provided for my trip to Africa, but I know I am not ready to go through that process all over again. But here I am, fundraising to go to Haiti. And just to add the cherry on the top; I need all funds in by April 23, 2014. This is when I start asking God if He sure He wants me to go. Even though He's made it perfectly clear to me that this is what I need to be doing; I still doubt and stumble in really trusting Him to do what He has promised. This process is not about me, it's all about Him and the glory that He will recieve when it's all said and done. I trusting in His faithfulness, and clinging to the promise that He who began a good work will complete it.
The organization I will be travelling with is called I'm Me. They are passionate about Haiti, and passionate about being apart of changing the live of the people in Haiti. You can learn more about them here on their website. Or watch this awesome video:
The trip is April 24 - April 29, 2014. We will be the light that God has called us to be to the people of Haiti. We will be visiting orphanages, cleaning up around Port-au-Prince, helping out with feeding program, and much more. The cost will cover my flight, accommodations, and meals. I will need $600 two weeks (April 10) before the trip to reserve my spot on the trip. The other $600 I have until the day before to turn it in (April 23).
The facts and figures in front of me say that this is impossible, but I am trusting God with this. I am confident that He is still in the miracle working business, and if He has called me to Haiti at this time then He will provide in a way that I can't even imagine.
If you are moved to donate thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Your support means the world to me. Also, please pray for the team that I will be with and just that I have a peace that surpasses all understanding in this process.
