Balloon Kenya - Dan Garlick

First of all thanks for visiting my profile! I really appreciate it!

This summer I shall be joining 24 other students from all over the world in Nakuru, Kenya to work with entrepreneurs that dream of starting their own businesses and create jobs in Kenya.

After several rounds of assessment I was selected to travel to Kenya to join the Balloon Kenya programme which looks to help fight poverty through enterprise rather than aid. As a student of Business at Sheffield Business School it is something that really interested me.

Having saved up £1,000 I hope to raise a further £2,000 to make this trip possible. I know that I will not change the world, but I will help create jobs in an environment that is rich in poverty.

Any sponsorship would be warmly received and I'll happily share my experiences with you on my return. If your business would like me to present about my trip this is something I am open to discuss.
