Via Chelsea Parr (Bailey's aunt) 10/8/12: Bailey has been officially diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. The oncologist would like to begin treatment within a few days. They will start with chemotherapy. Please say a prayer for our sweet girl.
Via Chelsea Parr (Bailey's aunt) 10/5/12: Looks like Bailey's breathing tube will be coming out in the morning. The ventilator is off and they will be checking her blood gases at 1115. So she is breathing on her own the tube is just in place. This is great news! One step at a time.
Via Chuck Hall (Bailey's grandpa) 10/3/12: To all of you who have showed support for Bailey Boo and her family, and given me encouragement and a hug, you will never know how much that means me, that you care about my grand daughter.Family and friends should never be taken for granted. Love ya all, mean it. overshshshshshshshshs
Via Lindsey Parr (Bailey's mother) 10/3/12: Thanks to everyone for the prayers and donations. It will allow me to stay by my daughter's side through this very difficult time. There are many expenses involved in staying out of town and to be away from work. The outpour of support means so much to our family. -Lindsey
Via Chelsea Parr (Bailey's aunt): Today's update 10/2/12: Bailey had a very rough night. She was not coming out of anesthesia and developed a fever and vomiting. They believe she was having seizures. They sedated and incubated her. She is now on a ventilator. They did a CT and did not find any abnormalities that weren't there before. She is in an MRI now. This morning she opened her eyes to Lindsey's voice and followed simple commands (squeeze hands, open mouth). Her next treatment will depend on the MRI and pathology results.
This is Bailey. She is 2 years old. On October 1st, she underwent neurosurgery to remove a tumor on her brain. Bailey has a very long road ahead to recovery. Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated.
