Indoor Garden for our classroom

This quarter our class wrote opinion pieces and we choose to write about school lunches and how they are not as healthy as they could be.  Our class decided to do something about it.

We want to grow our own healthy food, but because we live in Wisconsin and our class room has no windows, we have to buy indoor gardens with lights.  We want to learn how to grow, prepare, and eat healthy vegetables and herbs. We would like to teach other students in other schools to do the same.  We did some research and found out that 1 in 3 kids in the US are obese! Some of this is because they can't get healthy foods at school. We want to buy some aerogarden's like this to start. We will be able to grow herbs, tomatos, sweet pepers, and strawberries. 
Our school is title 1 and we can't raise the money on our own to grow our food. We need your help to raise money so we can learn how to be healthier and feel better at school. Ever dollar helps! The gardens will be kept in our Special Education Reading classroom.  If you can't donate, please share on social media and maybe someone you know can!
