Help my Mac's dream come true- let's get him to the Baddest Blue!
MacKenzie JUST voiced his fleeting dream of going to the baddest blue submission only competition by Dream Jiu Jitsu on June 14th, yes less than 2 weeks away. This is a fleeting dream because MacKenzie is a 4 stripe blue belt, and belt promotions are 3 weeks away! This is his last shot at becoming the baddest blue and I'd hate to see a dream of his pass by without putting up a proper fight!
Who: MacKenzie Arrington who you may know personally or through Grapplergourmet.com & Jiu Jitsu Magazine. He is one of the most dedicated people I've ever met he is constantly watching videos, training jiu-jitsu or giving back to the jiu-jitsu community. He is a four stipe blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and he competes regularly under the BJJ Globetrotters tag via Park Slope Academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is sponsored by Q5 Sports Nutrition , Inverted Gear & Datsusara. He'd never ask for anything, but I'd love to see this dream of his come true!
What: Dream Jiu Jitsu - Baddest Blue Submission Only Competition 2015.

Why: If all goes according to plan Mac will be a purple belt very soon so this is his last chance at being the baddest blue (I have no doubt he would crush it!) He's too damn responsible to spend the money on himself considering we move in 3 short months and just got engaged!
The Needs: I am seeking a total of $1200 to cover the costs of the whole experience
Airfare: The biggest cost will be the fluctuating air fare to Long Beach, California on short notice (I will be buying the ticket if the campaign is successful literally less than a week away from the departure date) Currently the prices of airfare are between $480-600.
Registration fee: $100. Deadline is June 9th.
Transit: To and from the airports/hotel and hotel/competition. Hell, if we don't get enough he'd walk to and from.
Food & Lodging: Both essential and the second biggest cost will be hotel fees which are around $100 per night.
If you know Mac you know he's well deserving of this, if you know of him only through JJM or Grappler Gourmet think of it as a donation for all the hard work he does to help fellow grapplers! Either way, let's make his dream come true! Thank you for all of your help!
