Baby Dolls for Dementia Patients

Donation protected
Heartland Hospice is collecting baby dolls (14") for their dementia and Alzheimers patients. These patients love their dolls and spend hours playing with them, dressing them, and taking care of them. In fact, one local facility shared that they only had one doll and that all the residents were fighting over the one doll.

This is such a sad situation and we are doing what we can to help ensure every patient has something to comfort them during their dark hours.

The dolls will go to facilities and home patients in the Wake, Durham, Johnston, Franklin, Orange and Chatham counties. Our goal is 250 dolls.

The dolls we are purchasing average about 17$ each. They are 14" baby dolls wearing pajamas or similiar clothing. Heartland has said that they do not need clothing or accessories- only dolls.

We are also accepting dolls- new or gently used- that you may purchase or have at home! Just contact me or one of the other fundraisers and we will happily collect them from you!

Even if you can only purchase/donate one doll, that 17$ will make a huge difference in someone's life!
