Hi Friends,
My name is Parker, have we met? You'd probably remember me, I'm excruciatingly cute after all.
Most people I meet on the street are shocked to find out I'm already 8 years old, I still look and act like a puppy! The world is such an exciting place, I can't control my eager nose when it hits the ground!
My human Mom, Heather, is my best friend.
We've been together since I was 8 weeks old, and I hate when she leaves my sight. We've been through so much together, living in 5 different homes and moving across the country twice! I don't know what we'd do without eachother. I'm always ready to hit the road wherever she goes...
I've had a pretty healthy dachshund life so far, I'm not gonna lie, I live a pretty luxe lifestyle...
Until recently when something started growing in my belly. After a trip to the doctor, we found out I have an inflammed tumour with cystic degneration. While a lot of growths are normal and harmless in my fellow canines, this tumour is dangerous to my health and the doctor said it needed to be removed by a surgeon.
The surgery is very expensive, and Heather and I are very grateful for anyone who can help us along this journey. Anything you can share, from dollars to prayers to sharing my page on your facebook is so very much appreciated.
My very good buddy Matt Jones (who is an amazingly talented artist) has generously donated some fantastic dachshund paintings just like this one, to help me raise funds!
