Feed my Cats while I walk around America

I'm not making potato salad. I'm not offering any great rewards. I'm asking total strangers to give me whatever they want to, and think that sites like this this can create a new and vibrant economy of people living actualized lives, being helped by others and helping others in what appear to be meager ways on the individual level but cumulatively add up. I love hard work, but I hate working for a paycheck, and could not at my wage save this sort of currency for a number of years. But... if 1'000 people can spare ten dollars, or if 10'000 people can spare one dollar, or if 100'000 people can spare one cent, well, you get it. E Pluribus Unum.

So my dream is this: to be an itinerant. To explore this country and continent on foot, and to not worry about food, to have my rent and pet care expenses (two beautiful cats) covered back home in Minnesota. I think about doing this every day, walking away, but I couldn't leave my cats behind nor would I want to burden anyone with my few physical possessions unfairly and without compensation. If I exceed expectations I will vagabond for even longer, and explore more of the world. I figure I would need at minimum $2000 dollars to do this for 2-3 months, and more would of course go further. If I make less than my goal, my travel will be isolated to in-state. I'm flexible.

I know that there are many people out there who are hurting, who could use support for terminal illness, legal fees, care for loved ones and pets, and if it comes down to supporting them or supporting my endeavour, please by all means help them. They have real problems, I just have a dream.
