Unedited Media's getting ready to head back to Utah to help conduct Tactical Media trainings at the permanent protest encampment next to the first Tar Sands Mines in the United States.

We're trying to raise $1000 to support us and other media folks to travel.

We'll be trying to raise some of these funds during our live show onhttp://www.ustream.tv/channel/uneditedmedia

"Unedited Media presents"

Storytime w/E&L

We'll be live for your questions and sharing stories about Unedited Media's work--the past, the present and into the futureeeee.

Monday June 7th, at 3:00pm-9pm.

Who are E &L?

They're two rapscallion journalists that came out of Occupy Wall Street. They went on to travel the country participating in a variety of New Media projects, from running social media platforms and livestream for Chicago IndyMedia during the NATO 2012 convention, to traveling with MobileBroadcast news to do livestream coverage of the RNC and DNC 2012 conventions. Then ending back in New York for the 1-year anniversery of OWS

In the fall of 2012 E and L went to Texas to learn about the Tar Sands Blockade's tree blockade in the path of the Keystone XL pipeline as well as train others in New Media tactics.  They started 2013 by helping document a treaty signing between different indigenous groups to "Protect the Sacred' . They traveled to different fossil fuel resistance camps as well as all along the KXL pipeline documenting resistance and contributing to media trainings. In summer of 2013 they travelled to Utah and helped train folks to work on a collabortive media project to document the non-violent Direct Action that shut down the first Tar Sands mine in the U.S.

We admit this list is incomplete! But just ask us about it...
