Help this fiance of killed tower climber

My good friend is in need of some assistance! She was engaged to Joel for eight wonderful years. Joel was taken from her in a workplace accident a couple of days ago, and he was the SOLE provider financially for them. They were living in the house that her father left her after his passing. The estate is almost closed, but the mortgage company is giving her fits. When Joel was alive there was a period where he was in between jobs and things got a little tight. Once he got hired with Fortune they were getting caught up. She doesn't have many options, as her father has passed and she has no current family left that can help much financially add they are struggling themselves. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. He was a great man, friend, worker, and father that passed way too soon.
