On May 23rd, 2014 Josh was diagnosed with LCH ( Langerhans cell histiocytosis ). LCH is very similar to Leukemia where bad white blood cells start attacking the body and in Josh's case has eatin a hole in his bones. He has a lesion on his left forearm as well as 2 lesions on his tibia on the right knee. We are very blessed that this is only single system LCH and thank god we found this early. Josh did 7 weeks of aggressive chemo and high doses of predisone. Thankfully we had a nice 2.5 week break and starting mid August we are back on a 3 week regiment of chemo and predisone for a whole year. Overall Josh is doing pretty well. He has lots of headaches and tummy aches. We had one week of low ANC. School starts soon and we are praying he stays healthy. We have started this page to help with many expenses that we've incurred during this journey. On top of all that's going on I ( mom, Heather) was just laid off and we will also be losing our dental and vision insurance.
