An Original Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film!

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Let me start out with 3 words.

Unique. Original. Powerful.

That's our goal to achieve with our newest short film, "Assana".

An isolated woman is content with her lonely life in the wilderness. But when a young boy enters her world, she discovers there is more to life than herself. Exploring passed her boundaries, however, is not going to be easy. There are creatures in the woods hellbent on keeping her there. Will she be able to defeat the bloodthirsty beings that have imprisoned her? And what will she find beyond?

Hello! Many of you know me, but for those who dont, I'm Chris Cloud! I have an Indie Film Production Company called Staring At Fire . We aim to make thought provoking films in all genres.



My wife Natalie and I collaborated with our writer friend, Ben Shelor to write an original Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Most of our projects have been self funded, but this film is our biggest venture yet and we need your help to get it produced.

We wrapped principle photography in June, which means we are already in full on post-productioin mode. So the sooner we can raise the money, the better. We still have a lot of costs for sound and visual effects, color, music, and festival fees.
