Gabriel and Micah Gililland

Gabriel (17 months) and Micah (7 weeks) have been diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder called Glycerol Kinase Deficiency. Micah also has seizures, which can be caused from the GKD. Less then 200,000 people Nation Wide have this disorder. With GKD they can go from stable to critical in a matter of minutes. Since January 2014 Gabriel has been hospitalized in Iowa City 8 times and in Clinton 3 time. Since May 2014 Micah has been hospitalized in Iowa City twice. Both Gabriel and Micah go to Mayo in Minnesota August 22, 2014. All of these specialist appointments have put a huge finance burden on the family. All proceeds will go to help pay for medical expenses.
