Art Is Where It Starts

The Art Has Heart Foundation has been providing college scholarships to low and moderate income students and their families since 1997. Our scholarship recipients often come from families where this generation's student is the first to attend college. We also have funded students whose primary language is not English or the student is from a single parent home. Our students are not the Valedictorian of their class but we try to find those who sometimes get lost in the crowd.

All of the scholarships we provide are for $1,000 and we specifically ask the colleges and universities to use the scholarship monies for our students to reduce their loan debt. In a given year, we always receive a few more requests than we have the money to fund. This is especially true for our students who are in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year as we place our emphasis on entering students.

This year, we have three continuing students that I would like to fund but cannot at this time. If this campaign is of interest to you, you can contact us and provide support to the students directly or make a donation of which 100% will go to the students at their colleges or universities.
